Operations Manager
at Holiday Inn Łódź

We are seeking applications from professional individuals with high levels of drive and determination who are interested in becoming part of the Management Team of Holiday Inn Łódź. Candidates must have previous experience on that position and pre opening experience would also be an advantage.

Basic function:
Reporting to General Manager Operations Manager will undertake the day to day management of Hotel operations, provide exceptional customer service through the use of the hotels brand standards to achieve the aims and objectives of each Department, especially Food & Beverage Department, and co-operate with all work colleagues to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for all hotel’s guests, visitors and each other.

Scope of duties:

  • Deputizing for the General Manager in his/her absence
  • Controlling stocks to assist in achieving budgeted Gross Profit margins and Net margins
  • Ensuring budgeted gross profit is achieved for food & beverage, implementing an efficient control system within the food & beverage department
  • Monitoring and controlling overheads and operating costs in line with budgeted figures
  • Leading by example and taking responsibility for day to day operational decisions
  • Availing of opportunities to promote hotel facilities both internally and externally
  • Encouraging guest feedback to ensure guest satisfaction and the improvement of service
  • Participating in the recruitment and selection of new employees particularly in the F&B area

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional background in hospitality business
  • A broad understanding of all typical market segments (business, individuals, groups and MICE) to be able dealing with them
  • Working for international hotel chains on the similar positions will be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong managerial skills
  • Perfect organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Creative and innovative way of thinking and acting
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Good command of English
  • Higher degree
